WHO WE ARE
Teen Challenge Canada Inc. operates 12-month in-residence alcohol and drug addiction rehabilitation programs with centres located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario. We offer help and hope to those struggling with alcoholism and/or addiction to other drugs through a proven faith-based program. Those struggling with addiction, their family and friends, begin their restoration at Teen Challenge.

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Outreach Support Worker is to build relationships with persons who are struggling with addiction (clients), who may be also marginalized and homeless, and/or are in need of support and resources. The work centre is the Teen Challenge Community Office, which is an inner city presence in the addictions community.

The incumbent will work with clients by providing access to community resources to help them address addictions issues and related harms. This will include providing access to the Teen Challenge Canada program through the online application process, and providing spiritual and social support.

Responsibilities include fostering a safe, caring, supportive, nurturing, and healthy environment; and advocating for clients to address their issues related to addiction.
