Note: This is a part-time, weekend position based in London, ON. Pay rate as agreed, based on experience, expertise, and applicable education.
COMPANY INTRODUCTION
Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, in-residence drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, for adults 18 and older. We currently have 8 centres located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario that are able to serve up to 197 people who are struggling with substance addiction. We demonstrate God’s love by helping individuals become free from substance addiction and equipping them to live full and meaningful lives.
JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our Ontario Men’s Centre is looking for a part-time, weekend support Food Services Assistant Community Support Worker that has a minimum of one year experience. The Food Services Assistant supports the Kitchen Coordinator by helping with meal preparation, maintaining inventory, and ensuring all food‑service activities meet dietary, safety, and sanitation standards. This includes preparing meals, keeping the workspace clean, instructing clients in the kitchen, adhering to health regulations, WHMIS, and company policies and procedures.
