Community Support Worker - Atlantic Hope Women's Centre
Note: This temporary full-time opportunity is available to cover an employee leave of absence. The assignment is expected to last a minimum of three (3) months; however, the duration may vary and will be dependent on the operational needs of the organization and the incumbent employee's return from leave. A valid Canadian driver's license and clean driver's abstract is required for this role.
COMPANY INTRODUCTION
Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, in-residence drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, for adults 18 and older. We currently have 8 centres located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario that are able to serve up to 197 people who are struggling with substance addiction. We demonstrate God’s love by helping individuals become free from substance addiction and equipping them to live full and meaningful lives.
JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our Atlantic Hope Women’s Centre is looking for a temporary full-time Community Support Worker that has a minimum of one year experience. The primary responsibility of the Community Support Worker at Teen Challenge Canada is to provide support to clients who are adults 18 and over. This role works with the clients in all areas of personal development, growth, life skills, as well as social and spiritual activities to enable the clients to attain their full potential.
