I attended church when I was young and I loved praising Jesus.

When I was 15, I started drinking and smoking and the ways of the world took over. I fell away from the Lord, spending my time working and partying.

Over the years, my addiction to alcohol, work and gambling progressively worsened. In 2001, even after a life threatening accident, I still refused to change my ways and follow the Lord.

In 2003, I married and had two children. I now had the family I always wanted, but I neglected everyone and work became my priority. I also continued to play hard and could sense life was getting out of control.

This past March my wife left, stating she didn’t love me. My world came crashing down. This was something I couldn’t fix.

I fell to my knees asking God to help me. No longer could I blame others for my problems. I was ready to take responsibility for my actions.

I met with a family friend – a former graduate of Teen Challenge. I wanted what I saw in him!

Since entering the program, my marriage has been restored, we have rediscovered our love and my wife has given her life to Jesus. My life has changed so much. I am blessed and am experiencing an amazing inner peace.
