Teen Challenge National Choir To Tour Alberta!

AB_choir_TourCanada's National Teen Challenge Choir will tour AB in April 2010, sharing music and personal stories of freedom. The 40-member choir will tour Calgary, Edmonton, Olds, Cochrane and other cities, performing at churches and
other venues.

The well-known Teen Challenge Choir has been on the road for over 25 years singing and sharing their amazing stories of freedom from drug addiction to audiences of every description.

1_Dynamic_and_Engaging_PerformancesThe choir is comprised of current students in Teen Challenge programs from across Canada. Anthony, a student on the tour, says audiences can expect a great presentation. “C’mon out and enjoy it. God does wonders for us and you can see God’s love in us in the joy we have. Who’da ever thought, drug addicts singing for God in a choir? See God’s glory for sure.”

The Choir recently toured the Atlantic Provinces in 2009. Pastors from the Maritimes had a few words for the people of Alberta:

"You’re gonna have an awesome time and you’re gonna be impacted. To see these guys, to hear their life stories, to see the change, it’s gonna be awesome. Gonna be contagious to the congregation."

– Pastor Gary Andrews, Full Gospel Church, Halifax, NS

"Folks in Alberta, we need to get the word out. Story of changed lives coming to town and God is the change agent and promotes the King all the way through. Support Teen Challenge. It’s life-changing."

- Pastor Lindsay Foster, Springdale Pentecostal Church, Springdale, NL

"Be prepared to have your hearts broken and be prepared to have God piece it back together from the stories these guys have to share. I found myself in tears listening to these guys. Their lives have been changed and the Scriptures have rung true. Be blessed in a real way by these guys. They’re not telling stories that have been written in books, but they’re telling stories that are true in their own lives and they’re sharing stories of deliverance."

- Matt Fitzgerald, youth pastor, Hartland Wesleyan Church, Hartland, NB

2"Prepare to see a window open in front of your eyes that will help you to see the hand of God at work in people’s lives that is tangible. To see a young man stand there and talk about the difference Jesus has made in the last few months — that will build faith. So expect to be blessed in your church and in your congregation because of that."

- Pastor Frank Williams,
Boom Road Pentecostal Church, Miramichi, NB

"We have a lot of Newfoundlander’s and Labradorians in Alberta. Fasten your seatbelt cause you’re in for a fabulous service. Whenever they come to our province, they captivate those who come. You can’t sit and do nothing after a presentation like this. It’s gonna be powerful and it’s gonna shake your cage and make you wanna get involved."

Pastor Paul Grimes, Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle, NL
