Choir Excited For Tour
When the choir visits, their joy and worship is electric. Excitement and praise spreads throughout the crowd. But is it real? What’s really going on behind the scenes? A few of the choir members travelling to Alberta share about what the choir means to them.

The choir will be visiting Jonathan’s home town on the Alberta tour. This is the first time he’s been back since entering Teen Challenge. “I want to show them that the old is gone and the new has come, that I was lost and now I’m found. I don’t walk in that sin no more...God has shown me what is good and how to walk humbly with Him.

Anthony says the people in Alberta should get ready. “Who’da ever thought, drug addicts singing for God in a choir. See God’s glory for sure. C’mon out and enjoy it. God does wonders for us and you can see God’s love in us in the joy we have. He just brings us all together. We don’t always get along, but when we’re on stage you can see the love in us and it’s all God.

Jason says, “This choir has probably been the most important thing in my whole program. This is a bunch of men who’ve had hard lives and we’re giving back. It’s not us that sing, it’s all the Lord singing through us.

Out west — look out! Teen Challenge National Choir is coming. That’s for sure.

The choir often travels by bus, which means a lot of time together in a small space. How do they handle the stress of the tour? Ernie says, “If we have an issue, we take it to the Lord. And we see the answers. It’s amazing.
